Sheared door locking mechanism upper bolt

I just discovered a sheared upper bolt(one of two) which holds the opening/closing/locking door hardware in place. The bolt head and appr 1/4" of the thread is completely sheared off. The remainder is holding. Can the damaged bolt be removed and replaced, short of drilling?(2009 Classic L 30).woppa4

Your selling dealer should replace the lock in Warranty.

Sorry to hear about your issue Woppa4, and though I don't know specifically the answer, I would agree that any Airstream Service center should be able to fix it. If the bolt sheared off, I would think something larger is at hand possibly and if you mess with it, they could very easily try to walk away from it. The factory lately has been, from what I've read here on the forum, becoming somewhat selective on what they are going to cover as a warranty issue, things that they never did balk at before, they are balking now. So be careful how deeply you get into it.
