screen door sliding latch

We have a 1978 Argosy Minuet and have been looking for a new latch for our screen door. The old one is missing rivets and the rivet hole is bored out. Any ideas? Thanks, Pat

hi- you could probably find an original-type latch at inlandrv or oasisrv, or on ebay, or maybe in an ordinary rv store. attach with either bigger rivets (they come in different sizes) or use sheet-metal screws big enough to grab in old holes. Or rig something from a latch from HD- right now I'm using a piece of wire to hold the screen door open with the main door, has to be something better than that! by the by- I grew up in madison, great mid-west small city!!
