Pic or info on the original door latch/handle assembly on a '61 Ambassador.

I'd LOVE to know for certain what the factory door latch/lock assembly looked like in 61'. I assume all 61' ASs are the same?
I'd LOVE to see a detailed picture of the outside and inside.
THANKS in advance!

Studioman,

Here's some pics of my door handle on my '61 Safari. So far in my short experience with Airstreams, you can't expect anything to be the same...

The pics above are of the L-77 door handle assembly. There was one listed in the here on the forum not too long ago.

I have one for sale in the classified section. I will be glad to take some pictures of something special if you need it. It is new and never been installed. Just let me know. I will be glad to help you.

Don't mean to highjack Studioman's thread, but does anyone if/how I can get keys made when I don't have the original key?

Sure if you have a good locksmith. I have a local shop that make them for me all the time. I have only had one lock that he could not make a key for out of about 20 locks.
