Lost the Only Key - Please help

I know it's stupid but I lost the only key to my newly purchased trailer. The main cabin is unlocked but can't get access to any of the small appliance doors.

Can a key be made for the door lock and then fit all of the others? The lost key fit all of the locks. Does Airstream have a master that could be copied and purchased?

Please help.

Joe,

A locksmith can make you a key. One did that for me when I was missing the key to the water fill door.

I appreciate the quick answer. I am sick since I just brought the trailer home last weekend and am just starting to get it in shape.

I'll try in the AM.

Got the key made today by a local locksmith. It works fine in the door but have to check it on the appliance doors. Cost $10 plus tax - 7% in Florida. That won't happen again.

The locksmith only made one key. It opened the main door lock but he wanted to wait until he heard that it opened the other access hatches. I tried it on the other locks and it doesn't work. It is not the right blank. I have two choices at this point. The locksmith said I could tow the trailer to him or I can figure a way to remove on of the doors and take it to him. My battery hatch does not fit properly so I will try to remove it, get the key and then reinstall properly. The headache continues.

When you get the right set of keys cut, make two extra sets. Keep one set in the glove compartment of your tow vehicle, one on a key ring in the house and one inside your trailer. This should also include a key for your hitch lock if you use one. I have gone all out to identify each ring set by attaching objects to each set as seen below.

All Airstream dealers have keys that will fit the 73 compartments. You can borrow one, and have it duplicated, or find a dealer that has them.

The key # is 1101X, for all the trailers back then.

This will work unless the previous owner, changed the code.

Key rings, or key chains?

If she calls, we certainly can solve her key problem.
