Locked out / How to get back in?

It is an '84 International, 34ft. I locked the door with the key and apparently the lock (not the key cylinder) has failed. No amount of key turning will free up the internal mechanism and the door remains locked tight. Is there a method to get inside without destroying hard to replace items?

See if you can get in through your back cubbie....hopefully you have the same access I do under my rear bed. From there maybe you can take the lock apart from the inside screws and work at it that way.

I once used a battery powered drill to drill out the lock mechanism on regular house door handle lock. Then used a small tool to rotate that locking bolt back into the door. That method might work for you. As understand it the lock broken and has to be replaced anyway. Good Luck.

There is an easy way to enter the trailer, without touching the lock.

I "WILL NOT" post that information here, since a thief could learn from it.

Call me at 800-8777311, and I will tell you how to do it.

Takes less than one minute, and your in the trailer.

Andy
