Locked out! 1951 Silver Streak Clipper
After hauling 842 miles, door now won't operate. Lock cylinder turns as normal (lock/unlock, 180 degrees), but does not help. Handle is restricted to about 5 degrees. I can see the the handle on the inside moving marginally in unison with the exterior.
-every possible intermediate lock cylinder position
-pulling, tugging, lifting, pushing while turning
-removing the screws in the baseplate---only allowed the plate to rotate; does not slide over the exterior handle's barrel so did not provide any additional access
-spraying WD40 profusely
Any other suggestions?
Can anyone identify the handle make/model?
