Lock recommendations for 73 Sovereign

Our lock is completely missing, and we don't necessarily want a KT lock, even if we could find one! What locks will work with our model? Are there current types of locks that will work? I'm sure we would want something metal, as we plan to polish our girl....

There is not really anything that will be a "drop-in" replacement for the KT. However, you could buy a modern RV latch, and modify the door to handle it. Inland RV sells a kit with pieces of aluminum to patch the oversized hole, olympic rivets, and the latch components. If you want to save some cash, you can buy the same latch on Amazon and create your own patch.
