L-77 Retrofit Options Please

Hello all, new member here. Recently purchased a 1960 Safari Land Yacht. Her biggest problem right now is the extinct L-77 is gone, nothing but holes! It appears to me the door has not been modified, except maybe the strike plate. Been doing lots of reading here, blogs and parts' sights, and can't find a solution. Has anyone out there retrofitted their door or seen it done? What are my options.

The L-77 shows up on Ebay regularly. Let me know if you find a L-76 for my Safari.

I have a Bargman L-77 but it is missing the latch or stem. I think all of the rest is there. Would also need a key made or a new cylinder and key installed.

Send me an email if you are interested r_whiten@hotmail.com

Our handle was broken off. One of these fixed our problem.

I don't think it will work for you if you only have holes though.
