I just toyed with my l-200 earlier tonight, I have no key so I'm trying to pick it open, I had it once already and it caught again when I apparently turned it the wrong way...
But I think I may have gained some useful experience for you, the pin that seems to be attached permanently on yours almost fell out on mine, mine has a small slit in the end similiar to a roll pin that was stuck through the slotted hole and into a brass device inside said slot. So you should be able to pull the pin out with some needle nose pliers. I can tell you the brass piece is not attached to the actual lock cylinder but is actually a tail shaft sitting around the end of the cylinder somehow, I'm pretty sure if you can remove your pin and still have your key you should be able to remove the cylinder (carefully as you may have springs come out, the plates should stay with the key/cylinder assy.) if you do succeed in removing your cylinder please take note which direction you turned it to and about where it finally slid out and let me know ! Then you can try the washer idea, when I have the time and patience to give picking another shot hopefully I can share some more
