KT Lock conversion kit
Hey guys, first post ever here. My girlfriend picked up a 73 Argosy 28' a few months back and we are going to refinish and use for fun and work. The issue is, the guy we bought it from seems to have broken the two most expensive parts, the large front window and the door lock. The door lock is actually missing.
Heres my question, Im pretty handy, and have been weighing replacing the KT lock vs converting it and I think conversion is what will be happening, but I cant find anywhere, what I actually need to get. Could someone provide some links?

Inland RV in Ca has both the original KT replacement $$$ and a more reasonable conversion kit (which requires some modification to the door).
They can also help with the window. If it is the middle flat window a local glass shop should be able to handle it. Some folks have used Lexan for the wrap around window.

VTS sells the full reproduction KT lockset for about $150 less than Inland.

Or, if you don't mind doing a little fabrication, you can buy the latch assembly that is sold in those conversion kits for about $35 on Amazon or at your local RV parts place, and then make your own patch to cover the oversized hole.
good luck!

Thanks guys, after looking last night, It looks like someone has tried to fab some sort of piece in there to cover the holes, so I may have to do a bit of fabricating myself. Waiting on a service manual to see what exactly is up.

Anyone find https://inlandrv.com/product/tri-mark-lock-78-91/ at a supplier other than InlandRV? I see the trimark lock in many different models at different suppliers, but nothing with a similar chrome finish.
I've tried to order from those guys and I can't seem to get any response from them.

I see the kit is not listed for sale on InlandRV anymore, but does anyone know if that same lock can be purchased on Amazon or somewhere else? I notice it has a longer slide which is obviously needed. The patch I can easily make. Thanks.

My 77 sovereign door lock broke. Took it apart. The cam rod broke. Looking for replacement parts. Recommendations? I also am looking for replacement key cylinder. None in stock at the inland or Outdoorrv place. Any other suppliers?
