KT door lock

i would like to replace my KT door lock with a Bargmen.. am i able to do this and which one do i need to get? i realize i have to patch the door in order to put this in, do i need a long bolt or a short bolt and what is the difference?

well i removed kt lock ass. that i broke thank goodness not wife or kids i think i'll need L 100 long so i guess my question would be is a 71 door frame the same as a 69 door frame

Same cast frame as a 1969 and you'll need an L-100 Special, it has a longer throw bolt. Good luck finding one though, everybodys out of them. You can use a L-100 or a L-200 and install the longer bolt yourself, only 4 screws to change it. The longer bolt is only available from Airstream.
