I don't know squat about vintage trailers, but perhaps this will give you a start.

Congratulations!!
Do you mean you found the original keys, or found a place to buy replacements? If you found a place to get replacements, I'm curious where that was.

No did not find original but we did find from the postings here that the cubbies were pretty universal so we tried a family members keys and miracle of miracles they worked( similar ) year, also they had a door key that did not fit theirs but fit ours
So search out your friends

That's a great story. It would be interesting to know how many door key variations there were and how much of a coincidence it was that their extra key fit your door.

I once lost a complete set of my AS keys. I did have another set and was able to find a capable locksmith that was able to make me a full set of keys. So if you have a full service locksmith in your area check them out if you need X-tra keys made.

2010 keys may have been made with a little more security.
It was both exciting and a little scary knowing the keys could be used on others.
Ours is a 72 and the one we used keys from was just a couple of years newer. We did have many spares made at our local hardware store

On my 69 Safaris lockset there is a very faintly stamped number on the exterior of the tumber, that is all my locksmith needed to make me a new set using the code alone :-)
