Trying to locate keyless entry for 2004 30 landyatch, need price and if fairly mechanically inclined can it be installed without going to dealer,do instructions come with them.
Sounds like it would be a tough job, maybe impossible. You would need sufficient room in the door to install a solenoid and a path to route the wiring. Motorhome doors and latches are different than car doors.
Maybe you could get one of those residential Kwikset punch locks mounted up to the door somehow?
I think the new MH's already have an Electric solenoid on the deadbolt that can be actuated from a dash switch. I know I wish I had one. Just as I get settled in I see the light that tells me my deadbolt is not thrown and have to get up and flip it

My 93 Land Yacht Motorhome has a keyless entry with the key pad outside the door as well as a deadbolt switch on the dash. I'm not sure if it would fit your rig or not, but they do make such an animal. So you could ask Airstream about cost, fit, etc.

If the electrically activated deadbolt is already there then any car alarm or remote lock system sold at an auto parts store should work. All you need to do is find the wires and tap it in.
