Sorry but the lock pictured is a Trimark lock, usually about $50 at most RV Dealers, there is a knock off from a company called FasTec that's only about $36 The FasTec is a M/N 43610-00-SP

My lock--the same as pictured in #29--has Tri/Mark cast in the back of it.

I first purchased the FasTec #43610, however it requires the door modification I described in #37, thus my search for a repair solution to the Tri/Mark

The repaired lock is now installed and works very well, actually works much better since the repair and some lubrication!

Keeler handle replacement

Hi All,

I recently had the Keeler lock handle on my 86 Sovereign break and tried to order one from VTS but they are out of stock on the item. I then was able to source one from forum member Perry. It looks and works great. I am very happy with it. I'm trying to post pics for the first time so we'll see how it goes.

For some reason my pics dont let you click to enlarge them. The first is the original & second is the one that replaced it.

OK, what are the dimensions in pixels of the images that you are trying to post?

Where are you trying to post them from?

Dimensions are 124 X 166
Size is 3949 bytes

I'm not great with computers. The first time I posted pictures, they came out of the file on my mac that I keep all my Airstream info. The second time, I pulled the photos over to iPhoto then imported them from there. Any help is appreciated.

124 X 166 is what is showing up. I'm guessing that these are thumbnails of larger images. You need to locate the larger image and upload that. (No larger than 1600 for its largest dimension, though)

I don't particularly care for iPhoto so I don't use it much. The photos on my iPhone show up automagically so that's mainly what I use iPhoto for. I rarely use the camera in my iPhone though, preferring to use my Sony Alpha 100. I only mentioned this because I've been flopping around in iPhoto trying to figure out what might give the 124 X 166 images. No luck. Maybe someone who uses iPhoto more can chime in.

Although I did get to see some iPhone photos that I hadn't seen in a long time.

I'm not going to be much help right now. If I figure something out, I'll get back in touch. Otherwise, see if you can locate the larger images.

Hi Perry, I'm keen to get a replacement handle for my Keeler lock. Do you still have them?

I am out of them at the moment. I can PM you when I have more. How did you get a 34 ft trailer to New Zealand? That's a lot of Kiwi's.

I would appreciate it if you could let me know when you have some more.

A 34' Airstream is quite a rarity in NZ. ;-)
