Keeler Entrance Door Lock

After purchasing my latest Argosy, a 1979 30 A, I had to immediately do a search for a replacement for the Keeler door lock. I had a few broken pieces, and a missing tumbler. I was able to secure the parts to rebuild the lock and to refurbish it to usable condition again. I also ordered a retrofit kit from ANDY at Inland RV. So when the Keeler does fail, a replacement is already waiting. I lubricated the Keeler really well and that seems to help overall. I was told by Dan at ODM, that the Keeler was used on several AS models into the early 80's and also on a few SOB motorhomes.

Glad you found the parts for the obsolete lock as they are fairly difficult to locate. I am fortunate that the lock for my 1967 is still available, although made in China.
