Interior door latch repair

I have a 1972 Overlander and most of the interior door latches are in need of repair. Can they be repaired or replaced without dis-assembling the door itself? I looked to see if there was a video or instructions on this but so far I haven't found anything.

These should be your replacement latches. No need to disassemble the door. Save the black spring loaded slides and backer plates from the inside of the door if they are still in good shape. They may come in handy later and are not sold as a separate item.
