We have a 2001 Excella 30'er. Recently I found the inner deadbolt throw on the floor inside. It had fallen off. In looking closely at it I don't see any way for it to be retained on the post ie. allen screw or clip of some kind. The end of the throw knob that would extend into the sheet metal seems to have some sort of bulbous end on it but no way for it to be retained. Am I missing something here that should be obvious ??? There is another throw handle to lock the mechanism so this will only affect the deadbolt.
Appreciate any thoughts or guidance here. ThanX all

OK, here goes. A couple of weeks ago I inquired about the inside deadbolt throw falling off. I will attempt to post a few PIX to help out. There is a photo showing the inside of the door to give perspective. Then a close up of the inside of the deadbolt showing where the throw knob would go and then a photo of the displaced throw knob. I just don't see any way for it to be held on. I see two phillips screws to remove the inside cover plate. I have not yet removed it and once I do I may see some sort of retainer that has fallen off. I will attempt to do that but didn't do it today. But, I would think the cover plate needs to be installed before the knob I'm not sure how that would work. We'll see when I take it off. So here goes with the PIX.
