hinges for a '63 entry door?
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement pair of hinges for a 63 tradewind?

Doug.
Those hinges are no longer available.
You might find some, from a wrecked unit.

Right down the road from you is Camper Repair Center in Montevallo. They repair Airstream wrecks all the time and might have some laying around. 205-665-2531.

Camper Repair Center has no idea what they have and what they don't have.....
I have stopped in there and talked with Sonny. He's very helpful. I also met his dad. that's all I'm going to say.
I guess I should have worded my question more specifically. Anyone know of a possible source for a salvaged pair. I assumed it would have to be taken from a donor but wasn't very clear in my post. sorry.

Have you considered getting it repaired, possibly have the broken pieces fabricated? If you have a good metal shop in town, they may be able to make it work again and save you from having to hunt down the right parts. I don't know if these are particular to the 63s--it certainly does look different from the hinges on our '61 (though I suspect they may be replacements, too).

Sorry Randy,
I'll get down off of the soapbox now...
BTW, this IS one of the nicest, most polite forum boards that I've been a part of...
I didn't intend to drag it down because of an unfavorable experience.
I do appreciate any advice given.
thanks as always.
