Hinge is sloppy

1972 International Sovereign 31'
My door hinge has what seems to be excessive slop. The door also seems to be sprung which may be making it seem worse, but the hinge may need repair.
So my question is, are there repair kits like bushing or new pins to tighten them back up?
It is so sloppy that it looks like someone took some wire and made like an upholstery hog rig to take up some of the slop.

Thanks

I posted there to help me find where I left off reading...wow good stuff.

So just as a follow up question, you only bushed the door part of the hinge, replaced the pin with just a random piece of SS rod cut to length and drilled for a new roll pin?

My hinge pin is worn and sloppy also. Aerowood did a great repair on his Globetrotter and I have taken notes!

Here is a bit more information on the single hinge doors from Vintage Resources.

I thought it might be helpful to you.

Thanks for that link David.
Someone already tried to use a hacksaw or something to cut a slot in the top and there is some tool marks like they tried turning it with a screw driver...or is that factory to rotate the pin to align the roll pin?
