Got a new Lock

Greetings
I thought i share the first repair that i made on my 73 Argosy

I installed a new door lock today it is a trimark style lock.

I had to make some modifications to the existing door in order to fit the lock in place due to the fact that the original lock was much bigger, also i found out that the striker on the new lock was to short...... so more modifications.
Hey, this is what you get if you don't spend the big $$$ for the replacement

Now it is in and working just fine.

Enjoy the before and after pics

Cheers

Looks good, but you might want to consider using Olympic rivets instead of what appears to be regular pop rivets. OutofDoorsMart has them for pretty cheap, you use your same pop rivet gun. They look almost like a bucked rivet when you're done. -tim
