Exterior door stop/latch?

I've done some searching on the threads but cannot find exactly what i'm looking for. When my 72 Tradewind exterior door is open there are 2 rivet wholes in the skin where it looks like a small rectangular "stop" may have been. Is this a door stop and/or a small latch to keep the door open that I'm missing?
Can someone post a pic of theirs and tell me where I may purchase one?

Thank you

E

It is (or was) a spring loaded deal that has enough angle to hook the door back...there. Need a picture? tell me and I will take a shot of what we have.

Mine has a latch that’s identical to the rear bumper lid catches and similar to the inside catches on the interior cabinet doors.
Sorry, no pictures until the ice melts off that side of the trailer.

exterior bumper and door latch

Mine has a small rubber bumper to keep the door knob from denting the skin and also has a latch. They are available from OODM, InlandRV.com, and VintageTrailerSupply.com. Both Inland and VTS have pictures of the kit they sell on line. I don't know about Out of Doors Mart. Ed

Is this what you're asking about? This is what we have on our '71 Tradewind:

I have no idea if it is original or not. It is spring loaded and slides over the skin of the door, holding it against the side of the trailer.

The original entrance door holdback, was all plastic.

Your photo shows the new style, which is far superior.

Thank you all for the quick responses and info.
Andy, do you carry these at inland? I didn't see them on the site. I saw the older stopper/plunger model for the 60's trailers.

Those part numbers are 18777 and 18781.

They are both on the web site.
