Door striker Rivets

Anybody know what size rivets to use for the nylon door striker pocket on a 68 TW? Just got mine from VTS and can't wait to put it on!

Nylon, eh? I kind of fashioned one out of an old piece of aluminum (and some artful use of JP Weld) many years ago and haven't gotten up the gumption to revisit the matter since then. But it would, just for intellectual enlightenment, be nice to know what an original set-up was like.

VTS states that this "delrin" striker plate was what was originally there....It is nicely made. Machined, not molded.

Ah, so that's what it looks like. Somewhat similar to the aluminum one I fashioned -- except that mine has a hole rather than a pocket.
