Door Striker

A number of years ago I was traveling, when the door flew open and was bent by the door striking the trailer.
The fault was that the striker on the frame came apart because it was ZINC.
After I had the door repaired I took a piece of stainless steel cut the correct hole or knotch and bent it to fit. I drilled the holes and pop riveted it to the frame and for the last 25 years....No problem. If any one needs the factory replacement latch, I have one for the price of shipping.. I will not ever need another.
