Have a question about door shade in the entry door. I want to replace shade but can't see how it comes apart. I should tell the year and model,1977 AS 31ft sovereign.Hope this not one of those stupid questions. Thanks
at the A/S dealer, he took out all the rivets on the upper half of the door, although balgrn did his without taking it apart---I think he has a lot more patience

In the mean time, if you're looking for a privacy solution, here's a suggestion. Our shade came off the roller and until we take the door apart, I bought one of the 'temporary' shades (used for homes) at Home Depot. You cut it to size and literally double face tape it to the top of the opening. It bends easily so took all of one minute to install. It looks so good, I think we may postpone taking the door apart!
I've seen all kinds of insulated fabric, such as to cover ceiling vents in the winter from Camping World. You could just Velcro a cover in place over the window which could be easily removed or rolled up.
