Door Dead Bolt Adjustment

I'll give you the solution right away. Compress the rubber seal in front of it. You'll notice a little metal plate. Stick a screw driver between the door and that little plate and push it back out. Done.

The plate is a guide. It got mashed in because we were trying to close the door with the dead bolt engaged.

No need for a service repair call or being all upset at Airstream.

I had a problem with my door dead bolt not being adjusted properly. It wouldn't engage the hole. It was completely out of line. And it was all my fault!!!

Thought I busted the dead bolt when I closed the door and the bolt was partially out. This fixed it in 10 seconds. Thanks for posting!

Thanks to AIRBULLDOGS for posting this. I was frustrated with how difficult it was to lock my deadbolt. This fixed it so it's super easy now.
