Deadbolt acting funny

On my 95 Classic MH I am a little stumped by the following,

From the outside I can insert the deadbold key, turn it and the deadbolt engages easily.

From the inside I cannot engage the deadbolt by twisting the knob. It feels like something is blocking it from going into the catch.

I've taken it apart to see if there is anything wrong and it all looks fine.

Hmmm. Are you able to lock it with the power switch on the dash?
