Blasting the Screen Door

Hi,

I'm about to do a soda blasting of the screen door frame to "refresh" it. I'll give it a coat of something to keep it clean afterwards.

Has anybody here tried this with success?

Thanks!

Multiple blasting media has been discussed in the Forums -- sand, soda, walnut shells, etc. Definitely do nothing of the sort on any aluminum sheet -- it will cause an irreversible warp & wrinkling!

Now... on the screen door extrusions? Might be interesting if other comments or a search turns up anything. I'd probably be fool enough to try it sparingly.
