Bargman L66

found this on my solo road trip last fall. Took the old Cowsnest Highway in British Columbia from Hope to Keremeus Then turned off up to the Okanagan and Kelowna. Out side of Keremeus Just before yellow lake there is a great side of the highway second hand Junk shop which would take hours to go through everything but if you have your spidey senses turned on (essential when junkin) things just seem to jump out at you.
So here it is a Bargman L66 door latch. I have, since finding it, made keys.
It was laying on top of a box of electrical junk.
So what I am trying to say here is, those junk second hand places that look like you should drive on by could contain something great. Might be %99.999 full of actual junk but like I said if you have your "spidey senses turned on" that one cool item usually pops out at you and makes stopping worth while.
There was some other cool stuff I found but I thought I would post this.
Cheers
Brian

Keep your eyes open for a L-67. Then call me.

I think you mean a Bargman L-77. Bargman never made an L-67 to my knowledge.

Yes they did. The strike is on the side.

That is an L-77. I used to make handles for that very thing.
The handle sits vertical in the door. The bolt is obviously on the side.

way to many models

The L-77 does have the side strike too. It is the New and improved model of the L-67, Thumb latch and longer strike mount. Kind of like the 100 and 200 series. I don't care what they call 'em I'd like to find a spare for the original in my 55.

The L-66 has the lock cylinder in the door plate and mounts horizontally.
The L-77 has the lock cylinder in the handle and mounts vertically.
The guy to check with is Andy at Inland RV.

Are you wanting an L-66 or and L-77? Big difference.

I found a near perfect L-100 with the key, for 10 dollars. Don't know why it was removed. Same circumstances. One mans trash.....

There is a used L-66 on Ebay right now, ending in a couple of days. It's currently $54 but doubt it will stay that way.
I found a guy who has "several" doing a Google search. he called back today & said he has several new, a few used, an "outer assembly" and many locks and parts. He is calling back on Monday & once I figure out exactly what he has, I'll post it here.
