I have this newer style L100 that needs the outer knob. I have located a couple of outer knobs but the lock inner parts are totally different than any I've seen and I'm worried the outer knob may not fit. Anyone ever seen one like this?

That is a Chesler lock. If you want a new or used Bargman L-100 lock which will fit directly in the same door opening, send me a private message r_whiten@hotmail.com and I will help you. I have one Chesler lock but from your picture I am not sure your lock can be repaired.

Internal pictures of the Chesler and Bargman L-100/200 locks.
Here are a couple pictures of the inside parts to a Chesler lock:
Then here are pics of the Bargman L-100/200 insides:
Both locks have very different internal parts. The only difference in the Bargman L-100 and L-200 lock is the inside handle. The internal parts are the same.
I hope this helps you the difference between the two styles.
Rick
