Argosy Door Latch Assembly

Does anyone know where I can get a new door latch and striker plate assembly for my 1975 Argosy 28'? Mine is functional, but badly worn. We have finished with the deconstruction phase and have moved on to the slowly repairing phase. As I said before when we finish, I'll post before and after pictures. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

door latch assembly

You might try contacting the Airstream factory in Jackson Center Ohio. They were helpful to me recently in locating and furnishing a part number for some hard to find trim on my '86 Argosy trailer.

look to spend about $500 bucks for a new door lock. you can also call airstream and they should be able to fax you a parts list for the lock. I olny needed a few parts and now it works great

Inland RV sells a lock kit which fits 73 to 77 Airstreams for a little under $200. I am not sure if they used the same parts on the argosy, you could check with them.
