'81 Excella II main door lock messed up

I just got around to figuring out if I had keys to everything and if the locks all worked. It turns out the main door lock is messed up. The latch and everything works but it looks like the core is messed up. It is loose in the bore and does not unlock the door when you turn it. Are these things special or can a regular locksmith fix them. I just called the guy I usually do business with and he did not want to have anything to do with it.

Locksmiths that have R.V. experience usually have a pile of old stuff lying around; we found one and he got us squared-away. Good luck.

Perry.

The original lock was made by "Keeler Brass".

They have been out of business for a while, but a tumbler is available.

Other than that, if the lock needs repair, a replacement kit would be the next step.
