Still haven't been able to locate a metal screen door gaurd for bottom half of screen door. Any suggestions of more places to look appreciated. Thanks, Kelly

Go to Home Depot, Lowes, Fastenal, etc. In the extruded metal section of the store they have expanded metal panels that are perfect....with a little fabrication for the size and mounting.

I made mine from a piece of 'stretched' or 'expanded' metal screen. Most good hardware stores will have it in their metal supply section. I bought a piece larger than I needed then fastened it to the rear of the screen door frame with short sheet metal screws with washers to keep the screw heads 'honest'.
