'58 Hinge Pin Help?

Has anyone removed the Hinge Pins from this vintage Trailer?
They look to be a 2 piece with the main part coming up from below and a then a plug like piece to be inside of the other piece from the top. A friend has a machine shop in his basement so building a new pin wouldn't be too difficult.

I am polishing my '58 and would like to pull the doors to make this easier. I also have some soft wood inside the main door where the latch mechanism attaches. It would be much easier if I could pull the doors to work on them but do not want to drill the rivets if not needed.

thanks in advance!
