1976 Argosy, 26'-Locked Out-Help

Pulled it out of a pasture, in good shape. Parked in a parking lot in my subdivision and locked it to keep the teenagers from having a party.
Next day.....it won't unlock! Rookie mistake by me, should have checked from the inside first.
Locksmith wasn"t any help, no small kids to try to climb through the storage area. The access door has two large hinges secured with two large screws, should I unscrew the left side of the door to gain access? Just worried that the door won't seal/operate properly afterwards or the mounting for the door will somehow be damaged in the process.

Is there an easier way, thanks for any help you can give!

My first airstream and getting my inaguration

If you unscrew the door. Chances are you won't get the bolts completely out. As the nuts on the inside will just rotate. Then you either remove the inner skin or drill access holes. Not a good idea to loosen the door hinges.
I would run a sheet metal screw into the lock cylinder and then pull the lock cylinder out of the mechanism. Then reach in and operate the mechanism to unlock the door. The pin is probably broken off of the back of the lock cylinder.

I "broke into" my Argosy yesterday afternoon. The process involved a butter knife and a cut screen. I certainly appreciate the help of Andy At Inland RV! Also, thankies to Twinkie for his thoughts on a desperate situation.
