1969 Overlander entry door needed

We just purchased a 1969 overlander 27ft, the door at one point must have opened while on the road and split the casted frame so now the door is like a noodle.

Can this be repaired ?? or where can i get a replacment

both skins are in great shape

thanks for the help

I welded the broken door on my 1967 Tradewind, and after about 3000 miles of travel it is still good. I removed the door from the trailer, removed the inner skin, took the door to work and heliarced it back together. The aluminum in the cast frame is dirty,ie it is hard to weld. Lots of pits and dirt/impurities in the parent metal. However if you are patient ,do a lot of grinding & wire brushing you can prduce a clean, strong weld. My door fit and aligned well when I was done. Adios, John

I had mine welded up and have had no problems so far. and you can see it on my thread below on page 18. I did remove both skins. Mine was cracked or broking in 4 different places.
