1968 26' Overlander rear compartment door

Hello, I am new to this forum, I have recently purchased 2 1968 26 foot Overlanders. Both are pretty much in the same shape. Both interiors still stock and both are missing the rear exterior compartment doors. If I had one for a pattern that would be no problem to fabricate. But alas I do not. Is there anyone out there that has a drawing or such that a person could make a couple reproductions? Or does anyone sell them? I know that they can be had for around $275 but that seems a little steep. Thanks Don

Wow! Two '68 Overlanders. That's awesome! I have a '67. When I get back to work on it later this week I'll send you some detailed pics of the rear compartment door with measurements. Will you be parting one of them out or fixing both?

Thanks for the quick reply. The way a 67 is constructed most likely is pretty similar. However I believe that the 67 Overlander 26 rear compartment has a dimensional outer size difference. If I could see the inside of the panel I could fabricate one, most likely. I spent 20 years working in the aircraft industry in Wichita Kansas. Also I was born in Tulsa many, many years ago. In answer to your question on why two. I am going to sell the best one of the two after doing some work on it and may keep the second one. They were offered as a package deal from an estate. Don
