Different type of coax is needed - a shielded low resistant cable design for antenna use (not regular TV coax).

Also, you want your external antenna up high on the roof - at least 10’ away from the internal antenna. I had my external surecall placed at the back of the trailer.

Come down the fridge vent -> 95%+ of installs are done this way. My internal antenna is mounted right above the fridge - easy!

Welcome to the forum, fulltime!

FYI there are some more extensive Weboost threads:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f317...ll-135215.html
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f240...er-176645.html
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f451...dy-181665.html

Also, the new search function in the blue box above works great:

"Weboost" results: https://www.google.com/search?q=Webo...=airforums.com

Cheers,

Peter

Update. First time out this year. We camped last week at Cannon Beach Resort RV Park and using the PDQ Connect One Sources we were able to stream Netflix through the campground WiFi. The signal dropped one time, but except for that, it worked flawlessly for five hours of viewing over a three day period including a Saturday when the campground was full. When walking the dog my iPhone WiFi and 3G/4G would be out of range of the One Source and revert to the campground WiFi and UN-amplified cell service and be minimally connected until returning to the AS.

I am very pleased with this set up.

Do you notice any signal loss when the A/C unit is running with this setup? I was looking to do the same but wasn't sure if A/C would generate interference causing issues.?

Good question. I have only needed the A/C once when in a campground near Garberville, CA two weeks ago but didn't compare signal strength between A/C on and off. I will test this on our next trip in August and report.
