Question Radio Antenna

Original OEM antenna broke off at rubber block. Motorola Radio w/8 track. Thinking of keeping OEM radio but might add casette/CD below in storage area. Is there a replacement antenna or repair kit for original. What is good system for cassette/CD install? 1971 Overlander Int.

Good morning- I would probably replace the Original OEM antenna with the newer one used on todays AS. If you want to stick with the original post on the wanted to buy section of the classifieds. Do they still make cassette players? Check out www.crutchfield.com they are one of the best suppliers when it comes to audi/video. Even if you don't buy from them, great source for research!

Thanks again Rick. Thought I could replace the antenna without routing in another one.

I have a digital synthesized am/fm stereo cassette player with dolby nr system. Custom manufactured for radio shack. Realistic cat. #12-1903 with digital clock display. Just in case you want to upgrade from your 8 track? I even have the owners manual. I have XM in my truck. I am thinking about wiring it up to my trailer radio. Switch the unit from the truck to the trailer, when needed.
