"Instant Phone Line" question

What's an "instant phone line"? Seen this term advertised with at some RV parks. Is this simply a standard phone jack? Can I connect my laptop to it to dial into AOL for internet service? Anything else that I should know about them (i.e. weird adaptors...)?

Hi Abe,
The few parks I have stayed at that have an "instant" phone line, the line was already on and ready for use. Other parks have phone lines to the sites but it is up to you to obtain service from the local provider
