cell phone reception
I've noticed that my cell phone gets terrible reception inside my Airstream, as you all have probably noticed also. I use my Airstream for work, and need to be able to use my phone.

I'm thinking of using the original phone jack for an external antenna somehow. Has anybody done this? Any techies out there that would know how?

This might help you - if you don't want to run wires outside the trailer. There are others available.

Hey Woody,

Check out wpsantennas.com - Cellular Antenna and Amplifier Reception Solutions


I have used the Wilson Amp and external antenna and have very good results. I don't recommend the thru-glass antennas, get a hard wired antenna.
