Can't get to the radio wiring on a 2001 Excella

I'm trying to see the wiring and back of my radio located above the sofa area, but for the life of me I cannot find any screws to remove.

Attached are 3 photos of the radio and wood surrounding it, and there just are no screws or any obvious way to access the wiring.

Any suggestions?

If possible, look up the data on the radio on the Internet and see how it is mounted into the hole. Sometimes there are concealed latches on the ends of the radio that hold it in. Sometimes a slim blade is used to release the latch, or it is part of the radio trim. Other than that, no clue here...

It has been a long time since I have removed a Sony DIN-sized radio, but I think they need something like the tool shown here:
