Couldn't access the site for some reason. Could you give me an idea of what it's all about please? I've been trying to add the XM hardware to my supposedly XM Ready Sony to no avail. It seems I will have to install a different radio to make it work with the hardware, all according to the dealer I purchased the XM hardware from. Thanks for any help if the site applies to my situation.

Zoom...did you click on the "This" in cosmo first sentence?...do not click on the weird link. It's a CD/AM/FM/XM player all in one for $29.00 ...seems like a great deal.

The only possible issue with that unit is that it employs an older chipset, and from what I've heard from many XM subscribers, newer chipsets and units pull a better signal and offer cleaner sound.
I went from a Roady to a Roady2 to a RoadyXT, and the XT is one of the better units I've heard, period. I think it offers better sound (and signal) than higher-end units.
Of course, it's nice to have the plug-n-play ability. Makes it easy to switch vehicles when need arises.
I also subscribe to Sirius, and while most of their offerings are pretty good, the technology they offer has yet to catch up to XM.

ZoominC6,
I used information from the xm411 site to setup our XM ready Sony in the CCD. We have a box similar to the one with the Dual XMP. It works great and it's awesome to have in the Airstream.

Howdy Ken. Thanks for that. We'll get right on it as soon as we finish this trip. We miss our XM.

Dual XMP6000 arrived today!
Cosmotini -
Thanks for the heads up about this unit, Looks to be extremely complete as far as what is in the box.
Just for giggles I went to Best Buy to get a sense of price on these units. Not the exact radio but a 6000 series - was $89.99 PLUS then you had to purchase the XM component additionally - another $69 or so. Plus tax....
All in all about $150 out the door.
This unit was about $80(shipping & etc) and then there is a $30 rebate. Not bad considering it is all there.
Will report again when I have it mounted in the wifes car. Should boost her system quite a bit. Did I mention, she likes it LOUD!
See ya out there!

Thanks for the tip. Just ordered my unit, even though I haven't taken the plunge into XM World yet.
Hope to have my 2006 28' Classic next week. Shouldn't be too hard to swap out the radio. If that doesn't work, my TV could use a new radio --HEY _ WAIT A MINUTE - why didn't I just order TWO!!!!
BTW, the sale ends on April Fool's day so HURRY UP if you're going to order one.

You can still get the Roady2 units for about $20 if you look around, and XM is always offering rebates on their hardware it seems.
