Winegard trav'ler custom mounting plate
Hi trying to come up with a custom mounting plate for the Winegard trav'ler. I'am having a fabricator working on a design .It will be made out of aluminum.
I Have made a temp mockup with wood . I want it to sit on at least 2 ribs .I talked to the Fabricator and told him there might be interest in others wanting one of these mounting plates that fit on front driver side . I do not have room behind the AC because of solar panels. That would be the ideal place to install the Trav'ler dish . Also I have it elevated to fit over the Maxim skylight. Welcome any ideas and feedback.

Nice job! I just mounted mine centerline with spacers, but I like yours better.

Very cool, what's the cost and how did you mount it to the AS? VHB?

Winegard trav'ler mounting plate
Do not have it permanently mounted yet. plan on using the scotch two-sided tape and screwing into the ribs with stainless steel screws. cost is roughly 450 for the mounting plate hundred 35 for the two legs and I'm still not done yet. Industrial Metal Supply in La made the plate for me they had to program a disk off of a template that I provided for them and then it was cut with a water saw. I plan on mounting the two legs first before I have the plate welded to them also I'm going to have the whole thing anodized. More money. I got the dish for about 1500 on sale at Camping World. Anybody want to buy a trailer.

Winegard trav'ler custom mounting plate
After 3 months of design, manufacture, and instalation the outside is done. the mounting plate is anodized with a clear color, goes with the silver look. Here are a couple of photos.
