Winegard SK-SWM3 TRAV'LER Satellite Dish

Hello,

Has anyone installed a Winegard SK-SWM3 TRAV'LER dish on their Airstream Travel Trailer? I have a 2012 27FB and was wondering if there was enough room to install one and what experiences anyone has had with the unit. Any advice would be appreciated?

Thanks!!!

Ditto, would love to hear some comments on this unit as I'm considering it for a Serenity 27FB.

I gave it a lot of consideration for my 25. But roof real estate was to valuable since I wanted to add solar with the folks at AMSolar. There are good diagrams on the Winegard site as to the foot print that it takes up. Also was a bit concerned about the weight and stress to the roof as it was going up and down and wind loads. If you are DirecTv user then it is a good choice since the portable Winegards are limited.

All that said still haven't pulled the plug and gotten something like the Winegard Pathway X1. Haven't really missed the loss of a sat signal.

I have a new 2015 Serenity on order. I am having the dealer install the Trav'ler as well.

The 53lb weight does worry me a bit but I guess this is a drop in the bucket compared to the two A/C units that will be up there.
