Weboost is offering a new packaging of existing product parts; 4GX booster, Weboost Omni external antenna, and their desktop tower internal antenna in a kit now, marketed for RVs.
From what I've read on these forums for traveling out west the directional offers better service so I think when I install my system, I'll just go with the 4GX with the Yagi type antenna.
What I like about this youTube review is he tests the range of the inside antennas using a signal app on his phone.
I've asked him if he has tried moving his Omni antenna further forward on his 5th wheel and on the Winegard antenna and he has but didn't see any improvements.
Since he likes to boondock in the West a lot I suggested he install a directional antenna and post another video of those results.
So, after reading/watching the reviews of these boosters and indoor antennas it appears you are restricted to just a couple of feet away from the internal antenna with these systems.
