USB Modem using Verizon or AT&T networks

I've pretty much settled on getting a Millenicom USB modem, which uses the Sprint network, for their PAYG $70 50GB monthly plan. (I spoke to one of their agents this morning, and they said their unlimited plan starts choking at 50GB.)

I'd like to do something similar with the Verizon network and one for the AT&T network. (My aim is to have a PAYG modem on each of the major networks.) Does anyone have any recc's for a company that does the sort of thing Millenicom does only on the Verizon or AT&T networks?

I'm looking for lots of GB, mainly, as connectivity has to be there for work and I will sometimes be moving across network coverages. (I use a Cradlepoint CTR35 to broadcast to my devices using the modems, if that makes any difference.)

I seem to recall friends who had millenicom on the Verizon network. What they sell you may be based on your home location. Wouldn't hurt to ask their rep.

A good thought, thanks, Rick, I'll check with them on that. Maybe their hotspot is Verizon or something?

Talked to an online rep this morning: the USB modem is on Sprint. The Hotspot is on Verizon. There's also an "advanced" plan with a USB modem on Verizon that's not currently on their website, which is 20GB but I think it's not 4G/3G, just 3G.

That is what my friend had on verizon. 20 gig 3g.

4 G would be nice but I suspect it will be a few years before the coverage expands out of the major metropolitan areas. We are still encountering a lot of 1x coverage where 3 g hasn't made it into the more remote areas we frequent.

I would log with a Hot Spot - just picked up one via Verizon - 5gb for 50 a month with 1 gb per 10.00 - my iPad3 is AT&T so I feel like I'm well covered!

I have the 4g mifi from Verizon. When I first got it, i preferred the older 3g hotspot as it didn't drop as frequently and I rarely got 4g. However, it has been getting better as they have built out the network and send a couple of firmware updates. We usually have a laptop or two on it as well as an iPad.

I need GBs, as many as I can without paying an arm and leg, so the "unlimited" plans that go up higher than 15 or 20 are particularly good. I don't and won't be using them all the time, but when I need them, I need them!

Virgin has an "unlimited" for $50 on the Sprint network that I think chokes at 10GB, but I think Millennium tops them at a 50GB choke for $70 on the Sprint network. Nevertheless, i will end up with both, and will try to find the best deal on Verizon and AT&T I can. Mainly what I need is to be able to find the best signal in the area.

What kind of things do you want to do that will require all this data? Reason I ask is that a lot of high-data applications also need a high data rate, which is seldom realized with a wireless connection. Yes, Verizon 4G (or so I hear), if you happen to be in a place where it's available.

Photos, PDFs, documents, website work, sales info and reports, etc. Even more so when J is Stateside. I have a fair amount that needs to flow back and forth too, but his needs have more to do with dependability. (So we'll probably stay in reach of 4G when he's here.)
