I have a single output coax recepticle with amplifier and
12V socket under the credenza between the dinette and the LR. There are three internal cable connections coming in/out of the recepticle inside the wall (antennae in, cable in, and output to a splitter for the bedroom and front TV). I tried to connect my Dish through the cable connection then staight off the external port on the recepticle but it didn't work. I pulled the recepticle out and connected directly to the cable wire and it worked. Is there some way to get through the amplifier connection to make this work? Can I split the cable input before the amplified recepticle and go into the amp with one and a new single plate recepticle with the other side? What kind of splitter should I use? This is a real pickle. Leaving for FL soon and would appreciate your inputs. DH>
