satellite tv receiver placement

Need some advice on where to place a satellite TV receiver in our 25 BF, near a/c power, and how to run the cable from the receiver to the TV set.

The TV is on the factory wall mount.

Antique Pedaler.....We have a 25'FB and there is a 120v A/C power receptacle and a cable TV receptacle under the dining table. We plug into the 120v A/C power and remove the pigtail wire between the input and output terminals of the cable TV receptacle. You then connect the antenna and TV terminal from your satelite receiver to the corresponding terminals on the cable TV receptacle. As your not on the rooftop antenna, make sure the antenna amplifier switch on the cable receptacle next to your TV is off. We mount the satelite receiver on a small elevated tray on our dining table.

Another option is to mount the receiver UNDER the table. Some have used velcro, but I chose to use metal brackets (purchased at Radio Shack) for greater security. The advantages are:
1) it's practically invisible; 2) it doesn't take up room on your table; 3) easy line-of-sight for your remote when watching bedroom TV
Disadvantage: a tall person might contact it with a knee when seated at the table.....but what's more important??

Thanks, folks! Until your input I wasn't sure about that "pigtail wire".
