Interesting. Says Industry Wide vulnerability. I got an email from Netgear a few days back stating a new firmware update was available for our home WiFi. That's the first time I can remember them telling us specifically to update the firmware. Maybe related?? The email doesn't mention a specific problem.
So I updated my WiFi router at home (Netgear). It loaded three patches, but didn't provide any information about them. Think I'll wait a couple weeks and check again.

I too use a Pepwave Surf On The Go (and have been using Pepwave products for years). I did NOT receive an email and, having just checked its' Firmware:
(Version: 1.0.26 (build:1260) Date: 2015-06-02)
I'm told "Your firmware is up-to-date." Interesting that 2+ year old Firmware is "up to date".
Not trying to scare anyone. Just be aware you need to upgrade your router/WiFi software soon. It looks like this exploit is pretty hard to pull off by the bad guys, but still worth paying attention to.
