Mounting starband dish

I have a starband dish but cannot afford to buy a new tripod. I was wondering in anyone had any creative ways they mount their satellite dishes? I even thought of building my own tripod...or even setting it up in the back of my pickup truck. Thanks for any ideas or tips.

Small barrel filled with either water or sand and a pipe of the right diameter attached.
